Priest Syu Yang, the founder of Christian Mountain Children's Home (CMCH), had felt God’s calling together with his wife Ms. Fong-Ying Lin when he studied in Seminary. Upholding the aspiration in caring for orphaned children in the mountains, Priest Syu Yang voluntarily chose to serve at Liugui Baptist Church in southern rural regions after graduated from Seminary in 1955, and began to house and nurture orphaned aboriginal children.
